Precautions during parking
1. If there is a rainstorm, it will usually be accompanied by a hurricane or strong wind. In this kind of weather, the machine should not be parked near trees, fences, wire poles and other objects that are easy to be blown down by the strong wind, or it will be easily smashed.
2. Try to stop at a high place as much as possible, away from rivers, deep trenches, and excavated trench edges, to prevent equipment from flooding due to rising water levels.
3. When the machine is parked, the working device should be kept dry and clean, and water should not be mixed in to avoid rusting and making the operation of the machine inconvenient.
4. After working on rainy days, it is necessary to clean the equipment chassis, maintain and refuel necessary areas to prevent rust and corrosion. Check whether each oil drain screw is loose, and carry out maintenance in a timely manner. If any water accumulation is found on the machine, it should be removed in a timely manner to avoid rust affecting the flexibility of the machine.
5. When parking in the open air, pay attention to checking whether the covers of the fuel tank and hydraulic oil tank are tightly covered to avoid unnecessary trouble caused by rainwater infiltration into the oil tank.
6. On rainy days, pay attention to checking the filter element of the air filter to prevent rainwater from entering and causing deterioration, damage, and blockage of the paper filter element. Replace and maintain it in a timely manner.
7. Check the usage of each wire head of the starter to see if there is any looseness or rust. If any problems are found, handle them promptly to avoid the starter being affected by moisture and affecting its service life.
8. Check the usage of the generator and ensure that all line joints are not affected by moisture, which may affect the power generation effect.
It is best to park the engine in the garage during the rainy season.
